This is for my bro's!!
I found this cute decoration I'm giving to my mom at the gift shop in the Hospital I work at. I can give this to her without hesitation right now because I don't have any kids. I thought it was so cute!! I'm sure this will still be there when I have kids. For right now I'll settle with having the cutest and best nieces and nephews ever! I just couldn't resist. So this is for my GREAT brothers and sister in laws!!! Love ya all!!

February and March(I know I'm behind!)
I know I've really been slacking on the blogging. To be honest I really don't have an excuse other than does work and being exhausted count? I know I have it pretty easy compared to all my friends and family with kids!! I was planning on doing a February blog, but now I've let it go so long I guess I'll do a February and a March one together. February was pretty eventful for us. It started with me coming to Oakley the first weekend to get my hair done and spend some time with family and friends. I decided since Jer was working and Jade was going to have her baby anytime I better get out there. I came out on Friday and Jade did my hair, then I spent time with my mom and Saturday night I went and hung out with Jan and Betsy. It had been so long since we all hung out together and we had a lot of fun! On Sunday it was Jade's baby shower so I was glad I was able to get a few things done while I was out there. Jade's shower was so fun. Tasia and Ashley and whoever else helped decorate did a great job. It all looked so cute. Unfortunately because the weather was looking bad towards Roosevelt I was only able to stay for a while. I missed the best part, her opening all of her cute presents. I'm still glad I got to at least be there for a while and say hi to everyone.
The next weekend Jeremy and I loaded up and headed to Heber to pick up my mom from my brothers house and from there headed to St. George to watch my niece rodeo. The weather wasn't the best going down but Jeremy got us there. I was really looking forward to some time in the sun so when we got down there and Grandpa Doug informed me the weather wasn't going to be the best I was rather upset. To make up for the weather loss my grandparents just live down the road from a tanning salon so before the rodeo on Friday I decided to go tanning. BIG MISTAKE!!! I was so miserable. I only tanned for ten minutes but I was totally fried. I was so miserable the whole weekend. I couldn't sleep because every time I moved I would wake up. I ended up in the bathtub taking a Vinegar bath most of the time. Of course Jer doesn't understand so all he could do was laugh and point at my bright red body. I don't think I've ever burnt so bad. I guess that'll teach me to complain about the weather. After having a really fun weekend in St. George we headed home after Sunday dinner with Grandpa Doug and Grandma Betty. Grandma always spoils us. She's the best cook so we got turkey for Sunday dinner and when we got there on Thursday night she had homemade chicken noodle soup waiting for us. She knows its my favorite and since I didn't make it out for Christmas she had it waiting for me in St. George. Thanks Grandma, your the best!!!! The ride home was good. Mom and I read most of the way and Jer drove and listened to the i-pod(apparently he's not so into books!) When we got home I drove Jer out to Roosevelt and headed back to Heber. Ben and Lara decided to go on a vacation and I don't know what they were thinking but they decided to let me babysit for a couple of days! I had so much fun with the kids. It was presidents day so they didn't have school so we went bowling and watched movies and bought toys. We had so much fun! I was so sad when mom and I decided I had to leave before Will got out of school, due to the weather. Everyone made fun of me for this but I was looking forward to picking up him and his friends from school. Unfortunately mom had to pick up the slack. The rest of the month was filled with the normal stuff, work, work, and more work. Jer's a trooper though. He didn't mind my frozen dinners on the nights I didn't want to cook or cooking for himself on the days I worked 24 hr shifts.
The first weekend of March I came out for a super quick visit when Billy got blessed. I was late due to a bad ambulance call I had to go on before I left and so I could get home before dark I left early. It was well worth it though. I was able to see most of my family and I always love when I get to see my nieces and nephews. They're all so cute!! I love Wes and Jody's new house so it was fun to get to hang out there for a while. Jer was working so he couldn't come with me. I think we'll both be glad when he gets more vacation time and can start coming out to Oakley with me more often. As usual I got home and got ready for the next work week. However that following Friday wasn't the best. Jer got home and was so tired he hit the couch and was out cold. I was kind of glad cause all day something had been off I just wasn't feeling good. We both fell asleep on the couch until I woke up and felt terrible. I took my temp and it was 103.6! I know adults get fevers but its really unusual for adults to get them that high. I just medicated myself and slept it off. I woke up the next morning and didn't feel the best but I felt better. I started to clean the house and I went and spent some time with Trisha and the kids and just kind of wrote it of as some kind of 24 hr bug. Sunday night I had to work in the ER so I went to work and was fine but by 6 Monday morning I was really wishing I didn't have to be back to work by 8. I ended up going home getting ready and coming back to work but by 10 I couldn't take it anymore and had called in a PRN nurse to fill in the rest of the day. I decided I'd go home and rest and be better the next day but to play it safe see if the other nurse could work Tuesday if I needed him to. I woke up Tuesday and felt even worse. I called the other nurse to work for me and called and made an appointment with the doctor. When I got done seeing the dr. he ended up telling me I had pneumonia. Yes PNEUMONIA for the 2nd time since October. I couldn't believe it. He told me I couldn't return to work until my symptoms were gone and that he'd talk to my dr. I work for to get me off the hook and write notes to get me out of working my ER and ambulance shifts that week. I ended up being down until Saturday. Poor Jeremy again was neglected as far as dinner goes. He had to try and take care of me, work, and cook for himself. He was good about it though.
I finally feel better and decide to return to work on Monday. You'd think enough had already happened, guess again. I was cleaning a room after a patient was done and I was taking a blade off of a blade holder and my finger slipped and cut my thumb. I ended up walking down to the ER for stitches and getting 9 stitches in my thumb. Just some advice your the is probably the most inconvenient place to be cut cause your always hitting it on things and its always in the way! I guess maybe this is a sign I should get out of the medical field cause the last three weeks haven't been the best. I got my stitches out today and so far all is going well but I guess I shouldn't open my mouth too soon.
This past Sunday it was Jeremy's first day off out of his two for the week so him and a few of his coworkers decided to get their families together and have a BBQ. I had a lot of fun! He works with some great people and they're wife and kids are awesome to be around!! I can't wait for the weather to get better so we can plan our next BBQ. We had to move this one in the garage cause the wind was so bad, but we still had a blast. I know this has been a really long blog, I'll do better to try and split up my months instead of doing two months in one blog!! I'm also going to post some pictures that go with this blog but I haven't gotten the whole picture thing down yet so don't laugh too hard!
